The annual North Schuylkill Tournament of Bands filled Spartan Stadium with music, excitement, and community spirit on Saturday, October 4, 2025.
With the stands packed, 10 high school marching bands from across the region showcased their talent in a night of competition.
The lineup featured ensembles from North Schuylkill, Wyoming Area, Shenandoah Valley, Mahanoy Area, Hazleton Area, Jim Thorpe Area, Panther Valley, Notre Dame Green Pond, Lake Lehman, and Pottsville Area high schools.
Bands competed across several divisions—Open, A, and Festival—with performances judged by a panel of experienced evaluators. Each group was scored on musical execution, visual presentation, and adherence to their performance curriculum. The divisional format ensured that schools of similar size and skill level competed fairly.
