State Police in Schuylkill County Investigating Series of Thefts from Vehicles in Donaldson

The Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating a series of thefts from unlocked vehicles that occurred overnight in Frailey Township.

According to investigators, the crimes took place between 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 9, 2025, and 4:00 a.m. on Friday, October 10, 2025. Surveillance images show what appears to be a male and a female suspect wearing masks, gloves, and possibly white Tyvek-style suits.

Troopers report that multiple vehicles in the village of Donaldson were entered during the spree. In each case, glove boxes and compartments were ransacked. Among the items stolen were:

  • Two long guns
  • A crossbow
  • A compound bow
  • A small amount of cash and loose change

Police noted the incident bears similarities to another case that occurred one to two months ago in Tremont Borough, where suspects targeted an entire block of parked, unlocked vehicles, taking firearms and other valuable items. Investigators believe the two cases could be related.

State Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individuals captured on surveillance. Anyone with information about the suspects or these thefts is urged to contact PSP Schuylkill Haven at 570-754-4600.

Authorities also remind residents to lock their vehicles and remove valuables to help prevent further incidents.
