Saint Clair Man Accused of Threatening to Kill Neighbor’s Dogs

A Saint Clair man is facing multiple charges after police responded to a heated neighbor dispute that escalated into threats, property damage, and public disturbances earlier this month.
According to court documents, Lee Russell Fidler, 56, of Saint Clair, has been charged with Disorderly Conduct (M3), Public Drunkenness (S), and Harassment (S) in connection with an incident that took place on October 1, 2025.

At approximately 3:36 p.m.,the Saint Clair Police Department was dispatched to 319 Cherry Street after Schuylkill County Communications received reports of a neighbor causing a disturbance. Dispatch advised that the suspect, identified as Fidler of 325 Cherry Street, had allegedly threatened to kill a resident’s dog and smear feces on her property.

When police arrived, he observed a broken vacuum cleaner and stereo outside the residence of the caller. The caller told police that Fidler had been causing disturbances since earlier that morning, screaming profanities, making threats involving her dogs, and creating a public nuisance.

The caller reported that Fidler repeatedly shouted that he would “kill the dogs” and accused her of smearing dog feces inside his residence and belongings. Around 3:30 p.m., the caller said items began striking her windows while Fidler continued yelling derogatory slurs outside her home.

Several neighbors were present during the incident and confirmed observing Fidler’s disruptive behavior. The victim provided a written statement and later positively identified Fidler as the individual responsible.

When Officer Bennett approached Fidler, the suspect yelled toward the officer. Police noted the odor of alcohol on his breath and determined that Fidler was intoxicated while causing the public disturbance. After being read his Miranda rights, Fidler admitted to smashing the vacuum.

Fidler is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on October 28, 2025, at 3:15 p.m. before Magisterial District Judge David A. Plachko in Port Carbon.
