A Minersville man is locked up in Schuylkill County Prison after he was found texting explicit photos with a teenager.
Roger Fisher, 26, of Minersville was charged Sunday with Sexual Abuse of Child-Possession of Child Pornography, and corruption of minors.
According to Minersville Police Chief Jeffrey Bowers, on Sunday, November 9th, 2025, at approximately 8:40pm, Officer Kerby and Officer Searfoss, received a walk-in complaint from a woman stating that Fisher was requesting and receiving lewd photos from a 16-year-old girl.
The woman was able to provide photos of text messages between Fisher and the victim to police.
The victim and her parents were brought in for an interview. During the interview the victim stated that those were photos of her. The Snapchat account that the defendant corresponded with sent a nude photo of the victim and stated "But I'm only 15. How old are you?", the defendant responded, "18 I'm okay if you okay with it.". It was then that another nude photo of the victim was sent to Fisher.
Fisher was taken into custody and arraigned by on-call Magisterial District Judge Edward Tarantelli and locked up in Schuylkill County Prison on $75K cash bail.
