Girardville Bar Fight Turns Chaotic, Leaving Three Stabbed; Woman Faces Assault, Threat Charges

A Georgia woman has been charged following a bar assault in Girardville that left multiple people stabbed and injured, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
Hayley Allyssa Hammer, 31, of Ludowici, Georgia, is facing six charges stemming from a November 22, 2025, incident at Guntown Bar and Billiards on North 2nd Street.

Hammer, who told investigators she was in Schuylkill County for her brother’s funeral, is charged with:
  • Two counts of Misdemeanor 1 Terroristic Threats
  • Two counts of Misdemeanor 2 Simple Assault
  • Two counts of Summary Harassment
According to an affidavit filed by State Police from the Frackville Barracks, troopers were dispatched to the bar around 11:30 p.m. for a reported stabbing. By midnight, police learned that three individuals had been transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital–East with stab wounds.

When investigators arrived at the hospital, they spoke with the on-duty bartender who said he was attempting to break up a fight when he suffered a knife wound to his ribs.

Interviews with witnesses and Hammer indicate the confrontation stemmed from alleged comments made on Facebook by Colby Kupusnick about Hammer’s brother, Danyel Miller, who was recently killed in a car crash.

Hammer admitted she went to the bar with several people to confront Kupusnick after learning he was there. Surveillance footage reviewed later by investigators shows Hammer and another woman, identified as Mandi Beaman, entering the bar and immediately approaching the bartender, who appeared to point out Kupusnick.

Video shows Hammer walking behind Kupusnick and striking him repeatedly with a closed fist. Kupusnick attempted to flee toward the pool table area, prompting Hammer and Beaman to throw pool balls at him.

According to police, Hammer repeatedly yelled “I am going to kill you,” shouting the threat three times during the altercation.

Investigators say the situation rapidly intensified where Kupusnick was knocked to the ground and struck multiple times by several people. An unidentified man was seen stomping on Kupusnick’s head.

Hammer appeared to kick Kupusnick while he was down.  Hammer later began limping, indicating she had been stabbed in the leg during the melee.

Another involved individual, Anthony Welikonich, was also stabbed, believed to have occurred when his shirt lifted during the fight.

Hammer told police she became enraged and “blacked out” during the assault, acknowledging she should not have gone to confront Kupusnick.

Kupusnick, interviewed by police at PSP Frackville, said he did not recognize his attackers and believed he was defending himself against one individual when the assault began. He confirmed being struck with a pool ball and receiving multiple blows.

Based on video evidence and witness interviews, state police charged Hammer on November 26th, 2025, with terroristic threats, simple assault, and harassment for her role in the assault.

Kupusnick’s controversial Facebook post was deleted after he was messaged by several people who were offended by it, he told investigators.

According to the affidavit, State Police did not say who had the knife involved in the incident and no other charges have been filed as of this posting.

Hammer will be required to appear for upcoming court proceedings to answer the charges.
