GIRLS BASKETBALL: Lourdes Regional Rolls Past Tri-Valley to Stay Unbeaten


Lourdes Regional continued its dominant early-season run on Tuesday night, powering past Tri-Valley, 52–16, in a Schuylkill League Division 2 matchup.
The Red Raiders came out firing, overwhelming Tri-Valley with a 26–3 first-quarter advantage and never letting up. By halftime, Lourdes held a commanding 39–6 lead. The momentum carried through the second half as the Red Raiders cruised to their fourth straight win.

Hannah Lokitis led Lourdes with 12 points, while Kylla Sandri, Karmen Schroyer, and Sophia Karlovich each added 9 (3 for 3 in Free Throws). Vivian Reiprish chipped in 6, Onaleigh Barnes scored 3, and Adalynn Schu and Luci Shingara each contributed 2.

Tri-Valley was led by Avery Miller, who scored 11 of the team’s 16 points. Ava Snyder added 4, and Ivy Sankus scored 1.

With the victory, Lourdes Regional improves to 4-0 overall and 2-0 in Schuylkill League Division 2. The Red Raiders will look to keep their perfect record intact when they host Williams Valley on Friday night.

Tri-Valley drops to 0-2 and will continue their search for their first win of the season when they host Williams Valley on Wednesday evening.
