According to police, the department was contacted by the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office in New Cumberland, West Virginia, regarding an active warrant for Caleb Blake, 20, of New Cumberland. Authorities advised that Blake was believed to be in the City of Pottsville.
Officers located Blake’s vehicle parked and unoccupied in the parking lot of the Market Square Apartments. Further investigation led police to receive information that Blake may have been staying in Apartment C20 at the complex.
On December 20, 2025, at approximately 11:51 p.m., Pottsville Police responded to Apartment C20, where contact was made with Blake. He was taken into custody without incident, police said.
Blake was later arraigned by on-call Magisterial District Judge MDJ Bayer on the arrest prior to requisition. Bail was set at $100,000 straight, according to police.
Additional details regarding the underlying warrant were not released at the time of the arrest.
