The annual festival is co-hosted by North Schuylkill High School and Shenandoah Valley High School and will bring together some of the region’s most talented high school jazz musicians.
Students were selected through a competitive audition process and represent schools from Berks, Carbon, Lehigh, Pike, Northampton, Schuylkill, and Monroe counties.
The festival will culminate with a public concert on Saturday, January 31, 2026, beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the North Schuylkill High School Auditorium. Auditorium doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets for the concert will be available at the door for $10. The performance will showcase the hard work, talent, and dedication of the selected student musicians from across the region.
Several Schuylkill County students earned selection to this year’s District 10 Jazz Band, including:
- North Schuylkill High School: Gregory Stump, Henry Evans, Addison Lesher
- Mahanoy Area High School: Benjamin Bux
- Shenandoah Valley High School: Toby Gudinas
