Interstate 81 southbound is closed Saturday afternoon south of Schuylkill County.
Around 3:15pm, Saturday, emergency personnel from Pine Grove Township were requested to shut down Interstate 81 southbound at Pine Grove Exit (Exit 100), due to a motor vehicle accident.
The crash involves a jackknifed tractor trailer over the embankment on the curve at mile marker 93 in Lebanon County.
Interstate 81 southbound into Lebanon County is expected to be closed for an extended period of time.
