
Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a retail theft that occurred at a business along Valley Street in Schuylkill Township late last month.
According to State Police at Frackville, troopers were dispatched on December 30, 2025, to a Dollar General located at 359 Valley Street, Brockton for a reported retail theft that occurred the previous evening.
Police say the incident took place on December 29, 2025, approximately 30 minutes before the store closed at 10:00 p.m. Investigators report that two unidentified females entered the store together. One of the females paid for a small amount of merchandise before exiting the store and leaving in a dark-colored sedan parked outside.
Meanwhile, the second female allegedly remained inside the store and filled a shopping cart with approximately $500 worth of merchandise, primarily LEGO products. Police say the suspect waited until employees were not observing before exiting the store without paying for the items.
The suspect has not yet been identified, and state police are asking for the public’s assistance.
