According to the company, more than 8,800 locations across the region are being connected as part of the project, with a significant portion of those new connections located in Schuylkill County communities.
Locally, service is now available in Blythe, Delano, East Norwegian, Kline, Rush, Schuylkill, and Walker townships, along with the boroughs of McAdoo, Middleport, New Philadelphia, and Tamaqua. The neighborhood of Kaska is expected to be added in spring 2026.
The expansion allows residents and businesses in those areas to access additional options for high-speed internet and related telecommunications services.
Comcast said the broader project also includes nearby areas of Carbon and Luzerne counties, including Banks Township and Hazle Township. The company has also begun work in Columbia County, where service is being introduced in several townships and is expected to expand further in the coming months.
Residents can check their address for availability through the company’s website.
