State Police Seek Public’s Help Identifying Suspect in Walmart Theft in Schuylkill County


The Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect connected to a theft that occurred late last year at the Walmart along Plaza Drive in Rush Township.
According to Troopers, the incident took place on November 26, 2025, when a customer completed a transaction at the store’s register and received $100 in cash back, but accidentally left the money behind.

Police say the individual standing directly behind the victim in line allegedly took the cash after it was left at the register.

Investigators are attempting to identify the person believed to be responsible and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
