Schuylkill County residents should prepare for dangerously cold conditions this weekend as the National Weather Service has issued an Extreme Cold Warning along with a Wind Advisory.
The warning is in effect from 4 a.m. Saturday through 10 a.m. Sunday, with wind chills expected to drop as low as 20 degrees below zero.
Strong northwest winds between 15 and 25 mph, with gusts up to 50 mph, are also expected Saturday.
