Mrs. T’s Pierogies Launches “Pass the Pierogy” Campaign to Help Parents Rebuild Their Village

As modern parents juggle packed schedules, nonstop notifications, and the daily scramble to get dinner on the table, many say their support systems aren’t what they once were.

A new survey conducted by Mrs. T's Pierogies found that two in five parents believe their “village” is smaller than the one their own parents had growing up — a shift that may explain why parenting today can feel overwhelming.

Inspired by the idea that a village isn’t found, but made, Mrs. T’s is launching its new “Pass the Pierogy” campaign aimed at helping families spark small acts of kindness through food and community support.

Building a Modern-Day Village

From overflowing backpacks and buzzing group texts to barking dogs and busy weeknights, parents often feel stretched thin. According to the company’s 2026 Modern Parenting Village Survey:

  • 54% of parents say their support village changes over time
  • Parents feel stretched thin an average of three days per week
  • Meal-related stress happens about four days per week for typical families
  • Support is needed most for everyday moments, including mental or physical breaks (41%), parenting while sick (33%), and schedule conflicts (31%)
  • Only 25% prefer support during major life events
  • The average modern “village” includes seven people — four relatives and three chosen family members

The findings suggest today’s parents aren’t necessarily looking for grand gestures, but rather small, consistent acts of everyday help.

About the “Pass the Pierogy” Bundles

To encourage families to show up for one another, Mrs. T’s is introducing Pass the Pierogy bundles designed to make sharing a meal simple and meaningful.

Each bundle includes:

  • A casserole dish and matching insulated carrier
  • Exclusive coupons for free boxes of Mrs. T’s Pierogies
  • A recipe card with meal inspiration
  • A branded oven mitt and spatula

The idea is simple: prepare a comforting meal, place it in the insulated carrier, and deliver it to a friend or neighbor who could use a break.

Starting February 24, fans can enter to win a bundle by visiting the sweepstakes post on @mrstspierogies’ Instagram page. Those without Instagram can submit entries by sending a private message on Facebook or emailing mrstspierogiesgiveaway@hunterpr.com.

Ten winners will be randomly selected.

Partnering With Parenting Influencer @MomChats

As part of the campaign, Mrs. T’s is teaming up with parenting influencer Suzanne White, known online as @MomChats. White, who shares humorous and relatable content about raising four children, will collaborate with the brand to create memes, parenting tips, and lighthearted content reflecting the everyday chaos families experience.

“People think parents need big, Herculean-like efforts of help. But what we really need are the small, everyday, unglamorous acts — folding a load of laundry or sitting in the car with a sleeping baby so a friend can run into the store,” White said. “Pass the Pierogy reminds parents that caring for each other doesn’t have to be complicated or made-for-social-media. It can be warm, buttery, and slightly chaotic just like real life.”

White added that instead of saying, “Let me know if you need anything,” a more helpful approach is, “I’ll take care of dinner tonight — be there at 5:30.”

Olivia Zawatski, Marketing Communications Manager for Mrs. T’s Pierogies, said the campaign is about easing mealtime stress while strengthening community bonds.

“Whether parents are cooking for their own family or for someone in their village who needs support, Mrs. T’s Pierogies offer a quick and comforting solution that helps ease mealtime stress,” Zawatski said. “Our hope is to inspire parents to show up for one another in simple, meaningful ways. Sharing a meal may feel small, but it can create a powerful ripple effect and make a real difference for families.”
