The North Schuylkill School District has recognized its Students of the Month for February prior to last week's board meeting.
At the Junior/Senior High School, the following students were named February Students of the Month:
- 7th Grade – Maycee Place
- 7th Grade – Brooklyn McGurl
- 9th Grade – Braiden Davis
- 12th Grade – Peter Schachte
District officials congratulated the students for their hard work and commitment to academic excellence and positive contributions within the school community.
At North Schuylkill Elementary School, several third-grade students were also recognized for exemplifying key character traits. Those honored as February Students of the Month include:
- Self-Starter – Emma Miller
- Positive – Owen Kowalick
- Ambitious – Kendle Goepfert
- Resourceful – Kennedy Russamano
- Team Player – Ruben Zapata Cruz
- Authentic – Victor Oquendo
- Natural Leader – Alice Kowalick
