According to the Pottsville Police Department, officers on patrol at approximately 2:27 a.m. on February 22, 2026, came upon a vehicle crash in the 1700 block of West Market Street.
Police said Chloe Moyer-Naydock, 22, of Saint Clair, had been traveling east on West Market Street when her vehicle struck a parked and unoccupied Chevrolet Silverado.
The impact caused disabling damage to both vehicles, and each was towed from the scene.
During the investigation, officers determined that Moyer-Naydock had been drinking and had previously used marijuana. She was taken into custody for suspected Driving Under the Influence and transported to Lehigh Valley Schuylkill Hospital for chemical testing.
After testing was completed, Moyer-Naydock was released from police custody. Charges are pending.
Pottsville Police were assisted at the scene by the Pottsville Fire Department and Schuylkill EMS.
No injuries were reported in connection with the crash.
