According to court documents, Alycia Marie Yost, 36, of Barnesville, was charged Friday, March 13, 2026, with several additional offenses stemming from the March 11th incident at a home on Codorus Road in Ryan Township.
New charges filed against Yost include Discharge of a Firearm into an Occupied Structure (F3), Obstructing Administration of Law (M2), Resisting Arrest (M2), and Criminal Mischief (M3).
The charges stem from the early morning incident in which Pennsylvania State Police from the Frackville barracks responded to a 911 hang-up call around 4:07 a.m. on March 11th. Troopers arrived to find Yost had allegedly shot her husband in the arm and barricaded herself inside the home.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, Yost retreated to a second-floor bedroom and communicated with troopers by cellphone, telling them she would not exit the residence and would not cooperate.
The Pennsylvania State Police Special Emergency Response Team (SERT) was called to the scene, and authorities obtained both search and arrest warrants for Yost.
During the standoff, police used aerial surveillance drones to monitor the situation inside the residence. Investigators say that around 9:40 a.m., a SERT camera drone entered the home and located Yost seated on the staircase inside the living room.
Court documents state that two gunshots were fired toward the drone, and investigators later determined the drone had been struck by a projectile, damaging its propeller. The damaged drone, valued at approximately $800, was recovered by authorities.
Police also located a SCCY CPX-1 9mm handgun, two spent shell casings, and a projectile lodged in a wall stud inside the residence.
After more than five hours, Yost surrendered to authorities and was taken into custody at approximately 9:57 a.m.
Yost was arraigned Monday morning on the new charges before Magisterial District Judge Edward Tarantelli, who set bail at $5,000. She was returned to Schuylkill County Prison, where she remains incarcerated on both the new charges and the $250,000 straight cash bail previously set in the attempted homicide case.
She is also facing charges filed by the Pottsville Police for throwing urine at a corrections officer during her intake at the Schuylkill County Prison.
