Gary P. Kochubka, 63, formerly of Black Heath, passed away unexpectedly. 

Services are to be announced.

Emma Jean Kulpcavage
, 86, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away peacefully Tuesday March 10, 2026, at her home.

Born in Pottsville, February 10, 1940, She was a daughter of the late Raymond and Lydia (Stonelake) Honicker.

A 1958 graduate of St. Clair Area High School, she worked as a Teacher’s Aide at St. Clair and Schuylkill County Child Development.

She was a member of St. John UCC, St. Clair.

She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Kulpcavage in 2006; 5 brothers James Honicker, William Honicker, Raymond Honicker, Errol Honicker, Thomas Honicker; 4 sisters Alice Haluska, Catherine Morrow, Doris Robinson, Clara Sirock.

Surviving are son Eddie R. Kulpcavage and his fiancé Sandra Parry of Auburn; son Christian Kulpcavage of Wyomissing; 1 Grandson Christian P. Kulpcavage; Nieces and Nephews.

Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 Am Thursday March 19, 2026 at Bruce T. Hart Funeral Home 110 N. Second St. Saint Clair, PA 17970. Rev. Jenny Strauch will be officiating. Friends may call from 10:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to St. John Memorial Fund, 45 S. Front St. St. Clair, PA 17970. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery.

Mary Jean Zimmerman, 76, Schuylkill Haven, passed away Wednesday, March 11th at Oak Leaf Manor, Landisville, PA after an extended illness.

Mary was born in Pottsville on June 14, 1949, a daughter of the late Ray M. & Bessie (McGoey) Zimmerman. She was a graduate of Nativity BVM High School, Class of 1967.

Before a career with the National Labor Relations Board in Washington DC, Mary worked in the local lamp factory in Schuylkill Haven alongside friends and family.

Mary is survived by two siblings, Joanne M. Gusso, wife of Phillip Gusso, Minnesota, and Dennis C. Zimmerman, husband of Judy, Lancaster, along with nieces, a nephew, and beloved extended family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Saturday, April 11th at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Schuylkill Haven. A visitation will be held in the church’s chapel from 9:15 to 10:15 AM.

Interment will follow at Saint Ambrose Cemetery, Schuylkill Haven.

Geschwindt Stabingas Ebling Funeral Home, Inc., Schuylkill Haven, has been entrusted with arrangements.

Cassandra Lynn Palsgrove
, 35, of Williamstown, PA passed away Thursday, March 12th, at home.

Cassandra was born in Pottsville on August 31, 1990, a daughter of Jodi Lynn (Beury) Palsgrove, of Pine Grove, and the late Joseph Palsgrove.

She was a graduate of Pottsville Area High School, Class of 2008. She completed culinary training at the Votech.

In addition to her mother, Cassandra is also survived by her sister, Ashley Palsgrove, Pine Grove, niece, Oaklynn Seyler, paternal grandmother, Mary Lou Palsgrove, and significant other, Scott Seasholtz.

Cassandra was an animal lover and she enjoyed cooking.

Private services will be held at the family’s convenience.

Cassandra’s family welcomes support towards her funeral expenses by forwarding contributions in her memory to Geschwindt Stabingas Ebling Funeral Home, Inc., 25 E. Main St., Schuylkill Haven PA 17972, in lieu of flowers.
