Outdoor enthusiasts from across Schuylkill County and the surrounding region are invited to attend a Sportsmen and Outdoor Expo next weekend in Shenandoah.
The free event will take place on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Columbia Hose Fire Company, located at 742 W. Centre Street.
The expo is being hosted by State Sen. Dave Argall (R-29), along with State Reps. Dane Watro (R-116), Tim Twardzik (R-123), Jamie Barton (R-124), and JoAnne Stehr (R-107).
Organizers say the event will feature a wide variety of vendors and organizations connected to hunting, fishing, conservation, and outdoor recreation. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about outdoor activities available throughout the region, connect with local businesses and groups, and explore resources tied to Pennsylvania’s rich sportsmen heritage.
The expo is designed to appeal to a broad audience, from experienced hunters and anglers to families and individuals who simply enjoy spending time outdoors.
In addition to the main event, a hunter-trapper education course will be offered earlier in the day beginning at 8:00 a.m. Those interested in participating in the course are required to register in advance through the Pennsylvania Game Commission’s website.
Admission to the expo is free and open to the public.
