Ten Shenandoah Valley Band Students Inducted into Tri-M Music Honor Society


Ten students from the Shenandoah Valley School District’s band program were recently inducted into Chapter 8998 of the Tri-M Music Honor Society during the band’s March concert.

Tri-M Music Honor Society recognizes high school students for their achievements in music, leadership, and academics. Students selected for induction must demonstrate strong musical ability, maintain solid academic performance, and show leadership within their school’s music program.

The following Shenandoah Valley band students were inducted into Chapter 8998:

Row 2 (Left to Right):
Evan Czerny, Declan Corrigan, Victoria Nork, Colin Neidlinger, Gabriel Mercedes Jose

The students were recognized during the concert ceremony for their dedication to the Shenandoah Valley band program and their commitment to musical excellence.

Chapter 8998 is advised by Shenandoah Valley Band Director Mr. John P. Shoener, who helped present the honors during the event.

Tri-M Music Honor Society chapters are sponsored by the National Association for Music Education and aim to inspire music participation, recognize musical achievement, and encourage service through music in schools and communities.
