Kenneth Pardovani, 42, was charged by Butler Township Police on March 13, 2026, following a reported break-in at the country club.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, police were dispatched around 2:20 p.m. that day after a report of a burglary in progress. The caller indicated the suspect was a former employee of the business.
When officers arrived, they reportedly found three individuals outside the building carrying items from the property and placing them into a vehicle. Those individuals told police they were acting under instructions from a “boss” and were removing his property.
Police then entered the building through an open rear door and located Pardovani inside. According to the report, Pardovani was on the phone with the FBI at the time but provided limited information to officers. He later told police the situation stemmed from alleged fraud dating back several years and claimed he had permission to retrieve his belongings from the property.
Further investigation determined Pardovani had previously been terminated as an employee and had been advised he was not permitted on the property. Police also confirmed with the business owner, Edward Ron Schnable, that Pardovani did not have permission to be there and that the locks were in the process of being changed.
Authorities also determined Pardovani was not listed as an owner of the business through state records. Employees on scene identified items being removed, including signs and cases of beer, as belonging to the business. The vehicle used in the incident was subsequently impounded.
Pardovani was taken into custody and arraigned the same day before on-call Magisterial District Judge Christian Lengel. Unable to post $20,000 straight cash bail, he was committed to Schuylkill County Prison. He was later released on March 18, 2026, after posting bail through a professional bondsman.
He is charged with burglary (felony 2), criminal trespass (felony 3), defiant trespass (misdemeanor 3), and theft by unlawful taking (misdemeanor 3).
A preliminary hearing was held Wednesday, April 29, 2026, before Magisterial District Judge Edward Tarantelli, who ruled that all charges would be held for court. The case will now proceed to Schuylkill County Court of Common Pleas.
