Charges Filed Against Schuylkill County Man for Strangulation, Assault in North Manheim Township


The Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven are seeking a Schuylkill Haven man in connection with an alleged assault that occurred late last month in North Manheim Township.
According to police, Braydin Robert Nettles, 25, of Schuylkill Haven, is wanted on multiple charges stemming from an incident reported on March 27, 2026, along Long Run Road.

Troopers were dispatched around 5:22 p.m. for a welfare check after a 911 call to the Schuylkill County Communications Center. During the investigation, police determined that a 24-year-old female victim had allegedly been strangled and physically assaulted by her boyfriend.

Authorities say Nettles fled the scene prior to police arrival.

State police have filed the following charges against Nettles:
  • Strangulation – Applying Pressure to Throat or Neck (Felony 2)
  • Simple Assault (Misdemeanor 2)
  • Harassment – Course of Conduct with No Legitimate Purpose (Summary)
Charges have been filed through Magisterial District Judge Casimir T. Issue Date: Kosciolek's office in Orwigsburg.
