Schuylkill County firefighters at the scene of a working structure fire involving multiple homes in Pottsville.
The dispatch came in at 9:10am, for a report of a house fire at 12 North 17 Street in the city. Responding chiefs and firefighters reported a large column was visible while they responded. The fire personnel on scene advised that the 1st and 2nd floors of the home were fully involved, reported the attached home was also involved and a 2nd alarm was issued.
There was a report of entrapment but it was later reported that everyone was out of the homes.
West Market Street/Route 209 is closed in the area.
