A woman wanted by Minersville Police in connection with an alleged assault has turned herself in.
According to Minersville Police Chief Jeffrey Bowers, Griselle Lee, 29, of Minersville, surrendered to Magisterial District Judge Edward Lewis’ office in Port Carbon on Tuesday.
Lee had been wanted on charges including:
- Aggravated Assault
- Simple Assault
- Harassment
- Disorderly Conduct
Following her arraignment, bail was set at $25,000 unsecured, meaning she was released pending further court proceedings.
Police had previously alleged that the charges stem from an assault incident within the borough.
Lee is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing at a later date before Judge Lewis.
