Andrew Peleschak was sentenced Wednesday by Schuylkill County Judge Christopher Hobbs to 28 to 56 years in state prison after pleading guilty to third-degree murder and aggravated assault.
The charges stem from the October 4, 2025, shooting death of Natalie Peleschak, 55, at the couple's home on South Center Street in Frackville.
According to investigators, Frackville police responded to the residence shortly after midnight after receiving a 911 call from a man who reported that he had killed his wife and attempted to shoot himself.
Officers arrived to find Andrew Peleschak outside the home and took him into custody without incident. Inside the residence, they discovered Natalie Peleschak suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene by Schuylkill County Deputy Coroner Andrew Szczyglak.
Court records show Peleschak was initially charged with first-degree murder and related offenses. Prosecutors later reached a plea agreement under which Peleschak pleaded guilty to third-degree murder and aggravated assault.
Following the guilty plea, Judge Hobbs imposed a sentence of 28 to 56 years in prison.
Peleschak was remanded to the custody of the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections to begin serving his sentence.
