According to a public information release, troopers responded to the area of North Repplier Road and East Darkwater Road in New Castle Township on May 13, 2026, at approximately 9:01 a.m. for a report of a theft.
Investigators said multiple Famous Reading Outdoors offroad park passes were fraudulently forward dated approximately 20 years.
State police noted that the total number of passes involved and the overall loss of revenue remain under investigation.
The Pennsylvania State Police Frackville Patrol Unit continues to investigate the incident.
