Pennsylvania State Police Seeking Information on Vehicle That Fled Traffic Stop in Berks and Schuylkill Counties


Pennsylvania State Police at Hamburg are asking for the public's help in identifying a vehicle involved in a pursuit that began in Berks County and continued into Schuylkill County.
According to state police, on Tuesday, June 2nd, 2026,  troopers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a silver sedan believed to be an Audi that was displaying a paper registration tag. The vehicle was traveling northbound on State Route 183 in Upper Tulpehocken Township, Berks County, when troopers observed it traveling at a high rate of speed and with heavily tinted windows.

Police said the driver failed to stop for visible and audible emergency signals, prompting a pursuit. The vehicle continued northbound on Route 183 before troopers lost sight of it in Wayne Township, Schuylkill County.

Authorities are asking anyone with information regarding the vehicle or driver involved to contact Pennsylvania State Police at Hamburg at 610-562-6885. The investigation remains ongoing.
