Laure Bound, 68, of Cass Twp. Passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at Geisinger St. Luke's Hospital, Orwigsburg.
Born in Pottsville on April 16, 1958 she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Joan (Ryan) Glunz.
A 1976 graduate of Nativity High School. She then went on to receive her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Masters in Reading at Bloomsburg University.
Her teaching career started at Saint Patrick's/All Saints Catholic School from 1980–1989; Minersville Elementary for one year and North Schuylkill from 1989 until her retirement in 2017.
Laure was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent H Bound on August 17, 2021; and sister Ann Marie Ortiz.
Surviving are, Son Daniel Bound and wife Andrea; Stepdaughter Gina Neary and husband James; Sister Barbara Watson and husband William; Brother Steven Glunz and wife Gail; Brother-in-law John Ortiz.
Grandchildren Eric Atkin and fiancé Melody, Lorren Bennett and husband Joseph; Great Grandchildren Julian, Jordan and Peyton.
Friends and family will be received from 9:30 AM to 11 AM on Monday, June 22, 2026 at Dutcavich Funeral Home, 200 Sunbury St., Minersville, PA 17954. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 AM with Rev. Kevin Bobbin Officiating. Private Burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery, Pottsville.
The family is choosing Bella Floral, Schuylkill Haven for their flower arrangements.

Wayne was born in Pottsville, Pa. on November 11, 1950, a son of the late Rita (Holley) and Alfred Halsey.
He was a truck driver for Bowman Trucking, Ernst Trucking, Lenosky Trucking and National Freight.
A member of the Seltzer Hose Co. and Buck Fever Rod & Gun Club.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by nephews, Matthew Halsey, and John Minder Jr., as well as his companion of 36 years, M. Jean Brinsfield.
Wayne is survived by a son, David W. Halsey, two sisters, Rita M., wife of Gerold Keiser, and Laureen, wife of John Minder, two brothers, Joseph R., husband of Sonya Halsey and Charles D., husband of Millie Halsey. He is also survived by grandchildren, Michael, Sarah, Amanda Halsey, Step-Grandchildren James & Kayla Schwalm, 4 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Wayne shall be remembered for his love of life, his teasing humor, compassionate heart, and spending time with his nephew Joey at the Pocono and Dover race tracks.
A Christian Burial Service will be held 11:00 am Friday, July 3, at the Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc, Minersville. There are no calling hours.
Interment private at the convenience of the family.

Geraldine “Geri” L. Knorr, 67, of Frackville, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on June, 18, 2026, surrounded by her family. Born on November 4, 1958, at the Locust Mountain Hospital in Shenandoah Heights, Pennsylvania, Gerri lived a life filled with love, hardship, and devotion to those closest to her.
Preceded in death by her parents, Mary (Bobal) Podgurski and Joseph Podgurski of Frackville, her sister, Joanne (Podgurski) Williamson of Buck Mountain; and her nephew, Jeffrey Williamson of Buck Mountain.
A proud 1976 graduate of North Schuylkill Jr./Sr. High School, she was an avid supporter of the North Schuylkill Spartans football team and Girls Basketball. Gerri continued her education at the Ashland State General Hospital School of Nursing, graduating in 1977 earning her Licensed Practical Nursing degree and licensure. She worked as a nurse there for several years before dedicating herself fully to her greatest calling — being a loving wife, mother, and homemaker. She raised her children with endless love, warmth, and happiness.
Geri was a former member of St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church of Frackville and the Bethany Evangelical Church of Ashland. In addition, she as a loyal member of the Good Fellowship Club in Ashland and the VFW Post 7654, Ashland.
She was never one to turn down a good party! Geri loved music, cooking, dancing, singing, playing the skills machines and scratching her lottery tickets. Her sense of humor, unforgettable storytelling, and spot-on imitations brought laughter and joy to everyone around her.

Geri is survived by her husband of 40 years, Richard J. Knorr; her son, Clair J. (C.J.) Quick and his wife Amy of Tamaqua; her daughter, Stephanie M. Knorr of Centre Hill, State College; her niece, Francine (Williamson) Kozie and her husband Steve; of Buck Mountain, her beloved and cherished grandson, Jordyn Knorr of Frackville; and granddaughter, Olivia H. Quick of Tamaqua. Multiple cousins and cherished family alike. Relatives and friends are invited to call and visit with the family on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 PM at David D. Jarrett Funeral Home of Mahanoy City.

Among her favorite pastimes were camping, vacationing in Tennessee, and taking scenic day trips to Lancaster County. Karen was a dedicated beautician for more than 40 years and later retired from the Tri-Valley School District. She also generously volunteered with the Mahantongo Ambulance Association and Fire Company, serving her community with compassion and commitment. Karen was a proud member of WoodmenLife Chapters 433, 721, and 390, and she served as an Auditor for the WoodmenLife Pennsylvania Jurisdiction.
She is survived by her husband, Garry Harring of Pitman, PA; her son, Rodd Harring, his wife, Julie; her son, Dustin Harring Sr.; her daughter, Mindi Eisenacher, her husband, Brian; eight grandchildren: Austen, AJ, Raquel, Dustin Jr., Dakota, Chelsea, Ava, Aiden; one great grandchild, Braxton and two nephews, Richie and Adam Dunkelberger.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Clair Dunkelberger Jr.
Services will be held at St. Paul's EC Cemetery, Pitman, Pennsylvania, on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Todd Wolfe, officiating.
A viewing will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Wednesday at St. Paul's EC Church. Burial will follow at St. Paul's EC Cemetery, Pitman, Pennsylvania.

Born on December 28, 1943 in Suedberg, he was a son of the late Paul L. and Hannah C. Wolfe Gibson.
George was a Coal Miner and then a Blaster, working for Warren Excavating in Denver, PA.
He enjoyed hunting, especially deer hunting and loved his pigeons. He also enjoyed playing cards with family and friends. He was an avid home gardener of tomatoes, lettuce, pepper and sweet potatoes.
Preceding him in death were three brothers, Robert Gibson, Clarence Gibson and Charles Gibson and two sisters, Helen Hornberger and Anna Mae Getz.
Surviving are his wife of 61 years, Karen Schappell Gibson; three sons, George P. Gibson of Kennesaw, GA, Robert E. and wife Tracey Gibson of Milton, PA, Paul L. and wife Joyce Gibson of Maine, N.Y.; six grandchildren, Emily Gibson, David Gibson, Daniel Gibson, Joey Peluso, Emily Peluso and Hannah Gibson; a great grandchild, Jasper Wood; a sister, Sue Ann Kauffman of Pine Grove; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove with Pastor Barry Spatz officiating. There will be a viewing on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Suedberg Church of God, Pine Grove.

Blair K. Krause, 70, of Andreas, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2026, in his home. He is survived by his significant other of 36 years, Beatrice H. (Kotchmar) Rinker.
Prior to retiring, he was employed as an electrician at Kutztown University for 16 years and at the former Air Products, Fogelsville, for 29 years.
Born in Coaldale, he was the son of the late Irwin O. and Kathryn K. (Kunkel) Krause. Blair was a member of West Penn Rod and Gun Club. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He found great joy in sports, especially when watching Kansas City Chiefs football or rooting for NASCAR's Dale Jarrett.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Clark Hamm; and stepdaughter, Christine.
Surviving in addition to his significant other, Beatrice, is a daughter, Louisa Krause, of Lehighton; and great grandson, Ryder Kulha; nieces and nephews; two stepdaughters, Cheryl and Charlene; step-grandchildren; and step-great-grandchildren.
Services and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to West Penn Rod and Gun Club, 1047 Clamtown Rd, Tamaqua, PA 18252.
Arrangements are being handled by the Hartman Funeral Home, 1791 West Penn Pike, Rte. 309, New Ringgold.
