Several streets in Minersville will be closed and posted with temporary parking restrictions while a contractor completes paving work throughout the borough.
The restrictions will be in effect from Monday, July 13, through Friday, July 17.
Coal Street
- Coal Street will be affected from the middle of its intersection with Spencer Street to the western side of Edgar Lewis Street. The work area will also include a portion of Edgar Lewis Street at its intersection with Coal Street.
East Carbon Street
- East Carbon Street will be affected from Schuylkill Street to a point just beyond River Street.
East North Street
- East North Street will be affected from North Delaware Avenue to a point just beyond Schuylkill Street. The work area includes the intersection of East North and Schuylkill streets.
School Street
- School Street will be affected from Twin Street to Quality Street. The intersections are not included in the closure.
The affected streets will be closed and posted with “No Parking” signs during the scheduled work. Residents living in those areas will need to park elsewhere during the posted times.
