According to PennDOT, West Main Street will be closed between Lofty Road and Route 309 from Monday, August 10, 2026, through Friday, August 21, 2026.
The closure will be in place 24 hours a day throughout the project to allow PennDOT maintenance forces to perform railroad crossing work. Officials said the schedule is not expected to be affected by weather.
During the closure, traffic will be detoured using Lofty Road and Route 309.
Motorists are encouraged to allow additional travel time, use the posted detour, and exercise caution when traveling through the area as work is underway. PennDOT advises drivers to remain alert for changing traffic patterns and to follow all posted signs and directions.
