Jeanette Clemson, 93, of Tamaqua, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at her residence. She was the wife of the late Ronald Clemson, with whom she shared 62 years of marriage at the time of his death in 2016.
Born in Tamaqua, Jeanette was a daughter of the late John and Marina (Domday) Dominic. She was a 1951 graduate of Tamaqua High School and worked as a bookkeeper for Lucy Murphy Accounting for the past 54 years, retiring only a few weeks ago.
Jeanette was a member of St. John XXIII Catholic Church in Tamaqua and had previously belonged to the former St. Jerome Catholic Church.
Jeanette was a loyal, hard-working woman who would go above and beyond to help others. The endless love she had for family and friends was often expressed in her delicious dishes of homemade lasagna, spaghetti and meatballs, or fried peppers. She was proud of her Italian heritage and enjoyed a glass of homemade wine after a hard day’s work. She adored spending time with her family and her smile beamed at the sight of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Jeanette is survived by three sons, Ronald Clemson and his wife, Mary, of Stroudsburg, Robert Clemson and his wife, Carol, of Lake Hauto, and Randy Clemson and his wife, Jacquelyn, of West Penn Township; four grandchildren, Danielle Clemson, Vincent Clemson, Jamie Lynn Ciabattari and her husband, John, and Steven Clemson and his wife, Kara; five great-grandchildren, Christian, Cameron, Carson, Brooke, and Evett; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three siblings, Mary Dominic, Isadore Dominic, and Anthony Dominic.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at Zizelmann-Gulla Funeral Home, 500 East Broad Street, Tamaqua with Pastor Rick Clemson officiating. Interment in St. Jerome Cemetery, Tamaqua, will follow. Family and friends may call from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Memorial donations in Jeanette’s name may be made to St. Luke’s Hospice, Development Office, 801 Ostrum Street, Bethlehem, PA 18015, or to the American Primitive Methodist Church, 57 Hunter Street, Tamaqua, PA 18252.
The Zizelmann-Gulla Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Susanne Stablum, 77, beloved spouse of 54 years, mother, grandmother and aunt, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at her home in Kissimmee, Florida, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on April 19, 1949, in Pottsville, Susanne’s life was one of dedication to her family, friends and God.
Susanne graduated from Minersville High School in 1967 and went to work as a clerk for the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue until 1980, when she left to focus on her family.
Susanne was a devout member of St. Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church in Minersville, singing in the church choir and spending countless hours baking to support church fundraisers.
She was a member of the Magic Fingers Craft Club, where she spent many Thursday nights enjoying the company of her friends.
Later in life, Susanne and Bob moved to Kissimmee, where Susanne spent her final years with her granddaughters, Ellyana and Julianna, whom she loved with all her heart. While in Florida, Susanne was also an active member of St. John the Merciful Orthodox Church in Orlando.
Susanne is survived by her husband, Bob; daughter, Nicole Stablum and fiancé, Robert Little; granddaughters, Ellyana and Julianna, of Kissimmee; Jason and wife, Erica Stablum, of Cincinnati, Ohio; her loving sisters, Debbie Frew, of Minersville, Lydia and husband, John Malusky, of Pottsville, and Andrea and husband, George Thomas, of Hometown; and her dear sister-in-law, Josie Bowers, of Minersville.
She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and extended family members whom she loved dearly.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Susanne’s name to St. John the Merciful Orthodox Church in Orlando, Florida.

Funeral services will be held at Butler Funeral Home and St. Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church in Minersville. Her final resting place will be St. Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Cemetery, also in Minersville.

The Reverend Melinda Ruth Heppe.
The force of nature that was "Mindy" Heppe arrived at rest with her Lord on July 15th, 2026.
She came into this world on September 7th, 1959, at the Hazleton State Hospital as her father was parking the car. She was a daughter of Frederic Lamont and Ruth (Nussbaum) Heppe.
One of her favorite places to be growing up was in libraries, and she continued that at Bard College at Simon's Rock in MA, where she earned her bachelors degree. She then attended and graduated from the United Lutheran Seminary in Gettysburg, PA. She spent several semesters at St. Patrick's Pontifical University in Maynooth, Ireland, where she felt right at home.
Melinda became an ordained Lutheran Minister and served for many years at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Shenandoah, as well as others. She also worked as an assistant editor for the magazine, In Trust. Mindy was a very intelligent woman, who enjoyed telling stories, and was always deep in thought. She had a great appreciation for the outdoors, and enjoyed traveling and hiking with her family.Mindy lived as a true servant of the Lord and Champion of the needy and fought for justice.
She leaves behind her beloved children who she traveled to Ethiopia and China to find, Tekuam Melinda Heppe; Hanna Melinda Heppe and YangGen Gabriel Heppe.
She is also survived by her brother, F. Lamont Heppe, Jr. and a sister, Lorna Heppe Jewby. Grandchildren, Adam Lamont Heppe, Grace Grose Heppe, Zahar Amya Henry and Layla Amhara Henry, also survive along with a nephew, Sean Devine and two nieces, Michelle Wrightstone and Tamara Kuhns. Her very good friend, Kay Rudberg will also cherish her memory and time spent together.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Celebration of Rev. "Mindy" Heppe's life at 11 AM on Friday July 24th, 2026 at the Walukiewicz Oravtiz Fell Funeral Home, 132 South Jardin Street, Shenandoah. A time for visitation will be from 9 AM until the service at the funeral home.

Pauline M. (Smeltz) Dunkelberger, age 80, of Hegins, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at Providence Place, Pottsville.
She was born on May 31, 1946, in Lykens Township, a daughter of the late Adam Smeltz and the late Lottie (Kissinger) Smeltz.
Pauline was a 1964 graduate of Upper Dauphin High School and earned her bachelor's degree from Millersville State College in 1968. She later received her master's degree from Bloomsburg State College. Pauline devoted 37 years to the Upper Dauphin Area School District, where she was a dedicated fourth-grade teacher who touched the lives of generations of students with her kindness, patience, and commitment to education. Pauline was a member of Christ United Church of Christ in Fountain. In her spare time Pauline enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons, Clair R "Richie" (Carolyn) Dunkelberger, III and Adam D (Rebecca) Dunkelberger both of Hegins; and three grandchildren, Ellie C Dunkelberger, Noah J Dunkelberger, and Madison A Dunkelberger.
Pauline is predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Clair R Dunkelberger, Jr on November 30, 2026 and two sisters, Priscilla Heckler and Arlene Reitz.
Private graveside services will be held at Friedens Cemetery, Hegins.

Harry Michael Mausser, age 83 of Hegins, Pennsylvania, passed away Thursday, July 16, 2026 at his residence.
He was born on November 07, 1942, in Hegins, PA; a son of the late Harry Mausser and Gladys (Wenrich) Mausser.
He was a member of Zion "Klinger's" Lutheran Church. Harry was a 1960 graduate of Tri-Valley High School. Harry served in the Airforce.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Mausser; his mother, Gladys Mausser, and his sister, Mary Ellen Schwalm.
He is survived by his loving wife, Diane (Klinger) Mausser, to whom he was married for 63 years. He is also survived by a daughter, Deborah Krammes; a son, Harry Mausser II, wife, Corinna; four granddaughters: Ashley, Alisa, Amanda, and Alexis; and eight great grandchildren.
A viewing will be held from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at the church. Funeral services will be held at Zion "Klinger" Lutheran Church, Lykens (Erdman), on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at 10:00 AM, with Rev. Pat Wirick officiating. Burial will follow in Zion "Klinger" Lutheran Church Cemetery.
