Charlotte A. Gozditis, 85, of Shenandoah, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 11th, 2026.

Charlotte was born in Ringtown on March 21, 1941, a daughter of the late Harry and Thelma (Susila) Brown.

A lifelong home maker, she loved animals. Charlotte enjoyed playing bingo and her trips to the local casinos.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Brown.

Charlotte is survived by her children, Darlene Pellegrino of Shenandoah and Joe Gozditis and his wife Margie of Ringtown. Three granddaughters, Nicollette Sosna, Shenandoah; Ashley Schnee, Ringtown and Rachel Gozditis, Frackville, along with her sister, Jane Bolinsky of Schuylkill Haven survive, along with nieces and nephews.

A graveside committal service will he held at the Our Lady of Fatima Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights on Friday, July 17th, 2026 at 10 AM.

Relatives and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery prior to the service.

Funeral arrangements are being provided by the Walukiewicz Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, Shenandoah.

Attorney Joseph P. Semasek, 90 of Frackville, PA., husband of Jeanette (Norwich) Gaverick Semasek. Born in MacAdoo, PA., he was the son of the late Nelson J. and Mary (Matweecha) Semasek. Joseph was a lawyer in private practice for 61 years until he retired. Joe was also a US Coast Guard veteran. He is predeceased by one sister, Mary Ann Moisey; one step son, Michael Gaverick. Surviving in addition to his 2nd wife Jeanette he is survived by his two sons, Mark Semasek and Jerry Semasek; one granddaughter, many great grandchildren; Nieces; step children, John Gaverick, Diane Pavalko, Lori Sugulia.
