Patricia Kechula
, 83, of Mahanoy City, passed away Friday, July 3rd, at Orwigsburg Center.

Patricia was born on December 9, 1942, a daughter of the late Agnes (Herman) and Robert McCormick.

She graduated from Mahanoy City High School class of 1961.

She had worked for the former City Shirt, Mahanoy City.

She belonged to St. Paul UCC Church Mahanoy City.

Patricia is survived by her two daughters, Kim Dalesandro and husband Jeff of Zion Grove, and Jessica Kechula of Minersville, and a son Jonathan, of Mahanoy City.

She has (2) grandsons, Kienan Dalesandro and Isiah Kechula along with one great granddaughter Sunnie Rose Dalesandro.

Patricia is also survived by her sister Irene Stride and brother John (Jack) McCormick.

She was preceded in death by her brothers Robert McCormick and Francis McCormick.

Interment will be private at the convenience of the family at the German Protestant Cemetery, Mahanoy City, PA.

Erika J. Ebling
, 65 of Pottsville died Thursday, July 2, at home.

She was born on October 9, 1960 in Pottsville a daughter of the late Gene O. and Janet Stoudt Ebling.

She was a 1978 graduate of Pottsville Area High School and attended Penn State.

Erika worked for UPS and was a personal CNA for many in the community.

Erika is survived by her son, Matthew Austerberry and his wife Shy, St. Clair; her grandchildren, Brody, Dorian, and Josie. who brought special meaning to her later years. She is also survived by her sisters, Ingrid Androshick, Pottsville; Kristian Marcinowski, Ashland, and her brother, Christian Ebling, Pottsville; nieces and nephews, her dog, Tillie and 2 cats, Bailey and Coco.

As per Erika's wishes there will be no services.

Arrangements are under the care of James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, James B. Humphrey, F.D., Pottsville.

Geraldine J. "June" Womer
, 94 of Pottsville, died peacefully on Friday July 3, at Providence Place Senior Living, Pottsville.

She was born on June 24, 1932, in Pottsville, a daughter of the late Harold F. and Anna H. Onasconage Hubler

She was a 1950 graduate of the former Branch Township High School.

June was a member of United Presbyterian Church, Pottsville.

June's life was a testament to simple joys, she enjoyed sitting out on her front porch, enjoyed time shopping; expressing love for family through baking; and engaging in heartfelt, friendly games of cards with her neighborhood friends. She was also a die-hard Philadelphia Phillies fan by all who knew her.

June was predeceased by her husband, James W. Womer, Sr., on June 5, 2001

She is survived by her daughter, Jackie Sherry and husband Dave; a son, James W. Womer, Jr., and his wife Rose, all of Pottsville; 5 grandchildren: Stephanine, David "Boop", Dr. Lauren, Maria, and James; 6 great-grandchildren, Tish, JJ, Jack, Kat, Norah, and Jay; nieces and nephews

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 9, at 11AM from the James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 9:30AM until the time of services at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Charles Baber Cemetery, Pottsville. The family would prefer remembrances in the form of contributions in memory of June be made to United Presbyterian Church, 214 Mahantongo St. Pottsville, PA 17901.

Margaret Jean Lindenmuth
, 81, of Locust St., Pine Grove, passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2026 in Orwigsburg Center.

Born on August 14, 1944 in Chester, PA, she was a daughter of the late William "Bill" and Elsie Krieger Bobbit.

She was a graduate of Ringtown Valley High School where she was a cheerleader and she was also a girl scout.

Margaret was a Quality Control Inspector for several Manufacturing companies and lastly was a CNA at Schoolyard Square.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Ringtown and the Lady Lions Club in Ringtown. She loved to watch sports, especially the Phillies, Steelers and Nittany Lions.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Gary R Lindenmuth on Nove. 28, 2025.

Surviving are two sons, Robert and wife Tracy Rada, of Louisiana, Stephen and wife Christa Rada of Pine Grove; 5 grandchildren, Crystal McNeal, Tabitha and husband Todd Roszell, Ethan and wife Emily Rada, Nicholas and wife Samantha Rada, and Connor Rada; 7 great grandchildren, Bryce, Luke, Halie, Finley, Jaxx, Jameson and Walker; 3 great great grandchildren, Leia, Chase and Brooklynn; two brothers, John and wife Vickie Bobbit, Jim and wife Rose Bobbit, both of Ringtown; a brother-in-law, Donald and wife Linda Lindenmuth of Frackville, nieces and nephews.

All Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions may be made to the PA Wounded Warriors, Inc., 1013 Mumma Rd., Suite 203, Wormleysburg, PA 17043 in her memory.

The H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove is in charge of arrangements.

Sara J. Rhaodes
, 79, of Tower City, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2026 at her home surrounded by her family.

Born in Lebanon, on Tuesday, October 15, 1946, a daughter of the late Ruben and Harriett McNeal Clentimack. Sara was a graduate of Tulpehocken High School.

She was a longtime employee of the former Lebro Shirt Factory, Lykens. Following the closing of Lebro's, she worked at Bell & Evans, Fredericksburg.

Sara was a former member of the Gratz VFW, the Fredericksburg Legion, and the Sheridan Fire Company.

She enjoyed camping at the Pillow Campground and watching her westerns and game shows. Her dog Missy was her constant companion. Sara always looked forward to spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Helen Clentimack, Sandra Spoo, Mary Trainer, and Lucy Conahan.

Surviving are her husband of 56 years, Dion "Jocko" Rhoades; four children, Dion "Boozer" Rhoades, Tower City, William Rhoades, Middletown, Theresa Witmer (Rick), Tower City, and David Rhoades (Sherry), Loyalton; six grandchildren, Tessa, Shaylee, Ty, Nicole, Alexis, and William Jr.; ten great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Dollie M. Frantz
, 96, of Andreas, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2026, at St. Luke’s Miners Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Coaldale. She was the wife of the late Garth L. Frantz, who passed away on February 19, 1985.

Born in Andreas, Dollie was the daughter of the late Pierce and Frances (Rupell) Kershner. Together with her husband Garth, they owned and operated the former Montgomery Ward Catalog Sales Agency in Lehighton.

Dollie was born and raised on the family farm and was an avid gardener, who took great pride in her beautiful flowers and vegetables gardens. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing and crafting and was active in the United Church Women and the Blanket Makers Group. She was a member of Ben Salem UCC, Lehighton. She held membership in the VFW Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary, The Red Hat Society, and the Andreas Sporting Club. Dollie enjoyed being with her family and attending picnics, dinners, playing cards and other events.

Dollie was also preceded in death by a son, Dennis, two grandsons, Joshua Steigerwalt and Benjamin Frantz, daughter-in-law, Vanna Frantz, son-in-law, Thomas Marucci, four brothers, Elwood, Melvin, Curtis, and Marlin, three sisters, Pauline Meckel, Mildred Rehrig, and Marlene Randig.

Surviving are three sons, Gary and his companion Nancy Banditelli, of Andreas, Randall and his companion Lisa Stewart, of Parowan, Utah, and Ken and his wife Mary, of Lehighton; two daughters, Dollie K., wife of Kevin Behr, and Cheryl F. Marucci, both of Andreas; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11am on Thursday, July 9, at Ben Salem UCC, 1965 Church Hill Rd, Lehighton, PA 18235, with Rev. Randy Lentz officiating. Friends and family may call from 9-11am Thursday at the church. Interment in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ben Salem UCC, PO Box 128 Andreas, PA 18211. Arrangements are being handled by the Hartman Funeral Home, 1791 West Penn Pike, Rte. 309, New Ringgold.
