Born on February 17, 1927, in Friedensburg, he was the son of the late Riland and Laura (Nunemacher) Ziegler.
Pickle was preceded in death by his beloved wife of many years, Laura L. (Kull) Ziegler, who passed away on January 31, 2006. In addition to his wife and parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Evelyn Heffner.
Following his graduation from Cressona High School with the Class of 1944, Pickle served honorably in the United States Army during the Korean War. In recognition of his military service, he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal.
He was a devoted member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Friedensburg, where he faithfully served on the cemetery committee for many years.
He was a member of the American Legion in Cressona, the Friedensburg Gun Club, the Friedensburg Fire Company, and a proud 70-year member of Cressona Lodge No. 222. Throughout his life, he remained committed to the organizations and community that meant so much to him.
Pickle was a skilled union carpenter before becoming self-employed, earning the respect of those who knew him for his strong work ethic, exceptional craftsmanship, and willingness to lend a helping hand.
Outside of work, Pickle found great joy on his farm and in the outdoors. He had a lifelong love of tractors, especially restoring old tractors. He was a hunter, and in his later years, he enjoyed driving his buggy around the farm, taking in the countryside he loved. He also looked forward to the daily visits from his favorite caretaker, Donna, whose companionship and kindness brought him much happiness and comfort.
He is survived by his devoted godson and caretaker, Donald Seifert and his wife, Dawn; his sister, Darlene Joyner; as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many friends who will cherish his memory and remember him for his quiet strength, generous spirit, and love of family, faith, and country life.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 13th at Ebling-Stabingas Funeral Home, Cressona, at 1 PM. A viewing will be held from 11:30 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
Interment will be held at St. John's Union Cemetery, Friedensburg, at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions be made to Cressona Masonic Hall Association, PO Box 122, Cressona PA 17929.

Terry was born in Pottsville on February 3, 1941, the son of the late Arlo J. Bensinger & Sarah (Standiford) Bensinger Knarr.
Married 57 years, he was the widower of Estelle N. (Buhl) Bensinger.
Terry was a former member of The Lighthouse Church, Orwigsburg.
He worked most of his life in the plumbing and electrical heating industry, and had been employed by Losch, Keystoker, as well as being self-employed. Terry retired from Reading Foundry as a counter clerk.
Terry was a model train enthusiast. He enjoyed exhibiting his train displays at Schuylkill Haven Borough Day. He also served on the Borough Day Committee for many years.
Terry is survived by three children: Heidi Shay, wife of Richard, Schuylkill Haven, Kristi Maurer, wife of Anthony, Wyomissing, & Terry L. Bensinger, husband of Francine, Schuylkill Haven, his grandchildren: Craig Barket, Jr., husband of Erin, Jordan Barket, husband of Kristen, Benjamin Barket, husband of Adrienne, Emma Jane Maurer, Kristopher Maurer, husband of Brianna, & Madison Bensinger, his great-grandchildren: Nathan, Clara, Levi, Micah, Naomi, Boaz, Ezra, Anna, and one on the way, and two siblings: Arlo J. Bensinger, Jr., & Melanie Mobley.
In addition to his parents and wife, Terry is also preceded in death by his granddaughter, Elizabeth "Lizzie" Shay, and step-mother, June (Boyer) Bensinger.
Services will be privately held at the family’s convenience.
The family prefers remembrances in the form of contributions in Terry’s name to Red Creek Wildlife Center, Inc. 300 Moon Hill Dr., Schuylkill Haven PA 17972.

Born in Mary D, he was the son of the late Harry and Alice (Bradley) Stillwagner. He retired from Lehigh Valley Dairy's in Schuylkill Haven. He was a member of Holy Cross Church, New Philadelphia, and had been a member of St. Anthony Church in Cumbola, prior to its closing. He served in the Army National Guard as armor crewman (leader).
My father, was a kind, caring and giving person who always put the needs of his family before his own. He was a man of strong faith and he instilled in us the importance of family, hard work and doing what is right. My father was a source of inspiration to us all and he will be missed by everyone whose lives he touched.
Edward is survived by his son, Edward Stillwagner and his wife, Goldy, and grandsons, Dylan and Dayn Stillwagner, who he adored very much.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jean Stillwagner, with whom he shared 60 wonderful years of marriage.

Betty Lou Tomko, 82, of Pottsville passed away Tuesday July 7, 2026 at St. Luke’s Hospital - Miners Campus in Coaldale.
Born in Ashland on September 2, 1943 a daughter of the late Betty and Peter Kroshefskie Sr. She was the widow of Steven M. Tomko the love of her life to whom she was married for 43 years.
Surviving are son Raymond K. & Helen Heiber, Kodak, TN; son Russell S. & Tammy Heiber, Oak Island, NC; stepson Daniel Tomko & Fiancé Susan Mittelbusher, Hope Mills, NC; sister Donna Flynn, Ashland; brother Peter Kroshefskie Jr, Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren & (great grandchildren) Angela Barrett (Max & Lucy) Raymond J. Heiber (Raymond M. & Aaron & Liliana) Maria Storm (Stella & Celia) Diana Wallace (Sunnie) Amanda Flook (Carter & Caspian) Cody Meeker, Eric Heiber, Samantha White (Elliot & Eden) Tara Mattingly; nephews Thomas Yeager & Peter Kroshefskie.
Betty was a 1961 graduate of Ashland Area High School and the Vo Tech CNA program. She was a past member of South Schuylkill Garden Club. She previously worked at the Pottsville YWCA for 18 years as a secretary/bookkeeper. She had attended floral design schools and Tannersville Community College studying advanced wedding design. She worked in a floral shop as assistant manager and designer in the Pocono area before becoming a CNA. She loved her many gardens and working with flowers which was her passion. Betty also liked traveling, music, cooking and baking. She always said she had a God given talent with flowers.
She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, Lavelle. She was employed at Broad Mountain Health & Rehabilitation Center, Frackville until retiring in 2016.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday July 14, 2026 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Dillon Epler officiating at the funeral home. A visitation for family and friends will be from 10:00-11:00 AM prior to services at the funeral home. Interment will be at Sky-View Memorial Park in Hometown.
