According to state police at Schuylkill Haven, the crash occurred around 1:37 a.m. Friday, August 21, in front of 118 Spring Street.
Police said an unidentified driver was traveling north on Spring Street when the vehicle left its lane and struck a legally parked 2017 Ford F-150 XLT.
The driver reportedly failed to stop and provide the required information, leaving the scene before any witnesses could identify the vehicle. Investigators believe the fleeing vehicle may have been a dark red Dodge Durango with damage to its front passenger side.
The parked pickup sustained moderate damage to its rear driver’s side but did not require towing. No injuries were reported.
State police said charges will be filed if the driver is identified.
