Schuylkill County boys’ soccer teams turned in several strong performances Tuesday, highlighted by shutout victories from Minersville, Shenandoah Valley, Blue Mountain, Tamaqua, and Tri-Valley.
North Schuylkill also earned a 6-3 victory over Lourdes Regional behind six different goal scorers.

North Schuylkill 6, Lourdes Regional 3
Six different North Schuylkill players found the net as the Spartans defeated Lourdes Regional, 6-3.
Fabrizio Manganiello opened the scoring in the fourth minute with an assist from Brenden Yotko. Lourdes answered through Orrin Mariano in the 17th minute, but Wesley Urban restored North Schuylkill’s lead four minutes later.
Braydon Madden tied the match for Lourdes in the 34th minute. Leopoldo Garcia-Ruiz responded for the Spartans during the same minute, and Maksim Leibig added another goal in the 38th minute to give North Schuylkill a 4-2 halftime advantage.
Manny Garcia-Ruiz extended the lead in the 57th minute. Mariano scored his second goal for Lourdes in the 69th minute before Yotko completed the scoring for North Schuylkill in the 72nd minute.
North Schuylkill goalkeeper Braiden Davis recorded three saves.
