The presentation, “Cover Crops: Protecting and Improving Your Garden Through Winter,” will be led by Master Gardeners Dawn and Greg Fisher.
Attendees will learn how cover crops can protect soil from erosion, improve soil health, suppress weeds and prepare gardens for a successful growing season next year.
The seminar is scheduled for Saturday, September 12, at 10 a.m. at Cressona Agway, 22 North Second Street in Cressona.
The program is open to gardeners of all experience levels. Admission and parking are free.
