Victoria Oettl of Port Carbon was born November 8, 1937 in Pottsville to Andrew & Isabel (Didjunas) Palokas. Vicki was a member of St. Casimir's Parish (now St. Clare of Assisi) Saint Clair, PA. Vicki was a retiree of Acme Markets where she worked in the meat department. She also worked in retail at Hess and Boscovs.

At a young age Vicki was one of the first singers on Cousin Jack's Junior Star Review on WPPA radio.

Vicki was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert Oettl, Sr., sister Geraldine Palokas, and brother Andrew Palokas.

Vicki is survived by her son Robert Oettl, Jr., his wife Jennifer, grandchildren Analiese and Lydia Oettl, brother Norman Palokas and his wife Martha, brother Edward Palokas and his wife Cathy.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

Remembrances can be made to St. Clare of Assisi Parish and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Camille L. Mattera, age 70, of Pottsville, PA passed away Wednesday, September 2nd, 2026 at her daughter Gina's home.

Born in Pottsville, PA on April 13, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale A. and Mary A. (Gerace) Pilo.

She worked as a Third grade teacher at John S. Clarke Elementary School of the Pottsville Area School District for 38 years until retiring in 2016.

She was a member of former St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville.

Camille is survived by her husband of 46 years, Frank J. Mattera; son Steven Mattera and his girlfriend Brianna Cuttic; daughter Gina Mattera Bottor and her husband Jo; grandchildren: Blake Bowers and his girlfriend Kylee Missimer, Jacob Mattera, and Cameron Mattera and his girlfriend Grace Lapachinsky; a great granddaughter Ellie Marie Bowers; a brother Anthony Pilo and his wife Karen; and nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Stephen's Chapel, Port Carbon at 10AM on Tuesday, September 8th, with Rev. Edward Connolly officiating.

Relatives and Friends are invited to a viewing on Monday from 6-8PM and Tuesday from 8:30-9:30AM at Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home, Port Carbon.

Interment will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery Pottsville.
