D.G. Yuengling & Son will introduce the latest beer in its Eagle Series during an event Thursday at the brewery in Pottsville.
Yuengling Eagle Series No. 18 is a Blueberry Beer featuring a light Pilsner-style base and ripe blueberry flavor. The brewery describes it as slightly sweet, crisp and refreshing, with restrained bitterness and a smooth malt background.
The beer has an alcohol content of 3.4% by volume.
Yuengling Blueberry Beer Release Event
The release event will take place Thursday, Sept. 17, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at 420 Mahantongo Street in Pottsville. Blueberry Beer will be available for purchase throughout the event.
The Messy Pig Food Truck will serve food from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., while Points Up Entertainment will host trivia from 5 to 7 p.m.
Trivia is free, but seating is limited to 40 participants. Advance registration is requested through the event’s SimpleTix registration page.
