Auditor General Eugene DePasquale announced Thursday that his new audit of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) shows the agency could be further along in repairing rough highways and fixing 2,829 structurally deficient bridges with the billions of dollars it has been forced to pay to State Police.

Education Secretary Rivera Visits Shenandoah Valley

Rivera  visited students and staff at the Shenandoah Valley School District last week to discuss Governor Wolf’s proposals to expand access to early childhood education, encourage students to remain in school, and increase compensation for teachers.

Schaeffer’s Harley-Davidson Partners with STC for Battle of the Kings Motor Cycle Competition

Schaeffer’s Harley-Davidson partnered with students enrolled in the Outdoor Power Technology Program at Schuylkill Technology Center (STC) to build a customer Harley-Davidson Motor Cycle for the Battle of the Kings competition. The finished project was unveiled at the Schuylkill Technology North Campus on Monday, April 15, 2019 at 1pm.
