Tuscarora State Park Beach Closed to Swimming for Water Quality Concerns and Upcoming Dam Maintenance

The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources has been shut down the Tuscarora State Park beach in Schuylkill County to swimming as of Wednesday, August 30, 2023, due to ongoing water quality concerns.

The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) closed to beach at Tuscarora State Park in Schuylkill County effective Thursday, July 6, 2023, because of resampling requirements.
