Crews at the Scene of a 2nd Alarm House Fire in Schuylkill Township
Emergency personnel were called to 173 Sunny Drive, Mary D, in Schuylkill Township for a fully involved house fire.
Ashland Turkey Hill Robbed Sunday Morning at Gunpoint
According to sources, At approximately 7:30am, someone wearing all tan clothing robbed the Turkey Hill in Ashland Sunday morning with a handgun.
He reportedly stole an unknown amount of cash, gift cards, and cigarettes.
Someone with the same description also attempted to rob a convenience store in Ranshaw, Northumberland County about an hour later.

Attorney General/XM Radio Settlement
HARRISBURG – Attorney General Kathleen G. Kane, along with the Attorneys General of 44 states and the District of Columbia, announced on Thursday that Sirius XM Radio Inc. of New York has agreed to pay $3.8 million to the states and provide restitution to eligible consumers.

The Pottsville School District has received grant money to add new security cameras to their schools.

According to WNEP, the FAA released a report about the November 16th incident where a Geisinger Helicopter nearly collided with a drone helicopter near the Schuylkill County airport.
