Eight People Injured in Crash on Route 61
Eight people were injured in a two vehicle crash on Route 61 South, near the Rockwood Center in North Manheim Township Friday afternoon.
A red van was traveling south on Route 61 when a blue Pottsville Area School District SUV pulled out of the center's parking lot, according to the Republican Herald.

According to the Republican Herald, Police are investigating a bank robbery that took place at the M&T Bank on West Market Street in Orwigburg on Thursday afternoon. The robbery reportedly took place just after 1PM.
Woman Admits Placing Baby in Trash Bag
On the morning of August 5th, A baby's body was found in a trash bag in Blythe Township. The bag was found near 189 Winfield Drive when authorities were called around 3am after a neighbor smelled something in the trash.
