Harlem Globetrotters bring their 2017 World Tour to Wilkes-Barre

The world famous Harlem Globetrotters, featuring some of the most electrifying athletes on the planet, will bring their spectacular show to Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza in Wilkes-Barre on Sunday, March 12 at 3pm during their 2017 World Tour.

Argall named to Senate Leadership for 2017-18 session

Senator David G. Argall (R-Schuylkill/Berks) will continue to serve as Chairman of the Senate Majority Policy Committee for the 2017-18 legislative session. Senator Argall was re-appointed to the position by Senate President Pro Tempore Joe Scarnati as part of the Senate Republican Caucus’s reorganization that took place on Wednesday morning at the state Capitol.

Man Facing Federal Charges for Child Pornography

The United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania announced Wednesday that Brian Tate, age 34, of Gordon, Pennsylvania, was indicted on November 15, 2016, for attempting to entice a minor to engage in illegal sexual activity and transporting child pornography.

On 10/09/16 at approximately 5:30pm, four individuals walked into Cabela’s Retail Store – Hamburg, Pa – Tilden Township, Berks County, and removed items from the store without paying.

LCCC Tamaqua Open Additional Hours for Spring Registration

Lehigh Carbon Community College’s (LCCC) Tamaqua campus will offer additional hours for applicants for the spring 2017 semester to complete the registration process. The Morgan Center will be open on Saturday, Nov. 19, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and is located at 234 High Street, Tamaqua, Pa.
