Two Face Drug Charges After Traffic Stop

Two are facing drug charges after a traffic stop in Hometown.

Rush Township Police pulled over a vehicle for a traffic violation on Route 309 Hometown on Monday.

During the stop, the police noticed suspicious material which led to a vehicle search.  Police found narcotics, drug paraphernalia, and other items that indicated sales of narcotics.

Noel Abadia, 34, Coaldale, and Elizabeth A. Garrett, 53, Summit Hill, were taken into custody.

According to court documents, Abadia was charged with one count of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, which is a felony, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Garrett is facing charges related to possession of drug paraphernalia.
