Alexis Saldukas named Shenandoah Rotary Student of the Month for January

Alexis Saldukas, a Shenandoah Valley Senior,  has been chosen as the Shenandoah Rotary Student of the month for January.

Alexis is the daughter of Michelle and Len Saldukas.

Alexis's school activities include participating in
Yearbook, Student Council, Academic Bowl, Float Committee, and the Formal Committee.

Alexis also volunteers through community service such as Downtown Shenandoah Incorporated (Helped put on a play for the community), Experian (Helped educate high school students on how to maintain good credit and the importance of maintaining a good credit score), Shenandoah Rotary (helped with a pet inoculation), Supporting Autism Families Everywhere (volunteered at an Autism walk to raise awareness and fundraise for families affected), Fundraising for the American Blind Association (I helped raise money to help families affected), Schuylkill Women In Crisis (Collected donations from students at my high school, raised awareness, and helped them to create new merchandise and branding to vocalize their brand).

Alexis loves Reading a good book, listening to music, and hanging out with my friends.

Her future plans are to attend college and become a Nurse Anesthetist.

Shenandoah Valley students are recognized at the Rotary Meeting on the ​2​nd​ Thursday of the month.
