A Ringtown man has died after a crash in Berks County on Monday.According to Police, on Monday, around 2:00pm, Clair Boady, 89, and his wife, Rosemary, 85, of Ringtown, were travelling on the off ramp of Interstate 78 into the southbound lanes of 183 in Upper Tulpehocken Township near Strausstown when their car collided with another vehicle.
When first responders arrived at the scene, both were found unconscious.
Both were taken to an area hospital where Clair died from his injuries.
The extent of Rosemary's injuries or the occupant(s) of the other vehicle were not available.
Route 183 was closed for nearly 6 hours while the Pennsylvania State Police at Hamburg investigated.
Early reports are a medical emergency may have contributed to the crash.
