According to Butler Township Police an armed robbery occurred at Turkey Hill Minit Mart along Route 901 in Lavelle around 1:35am, Tuesday.
The suspect is described as a white male, approx 6ft tall, 180-200lbs. Wearing a surgical mask, dark colored baseball hat, grey hoodie, jeans and boots.

This is northern Schuylkill County's second armed robbery within 24 hours.
The West Mahanoy Township Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred shortly before 5:00pm, Monday at the Uni Mart Exxon at 528 Altamont Blvd near Frackville.
Police say a masked individual entered the business, asked the clerk for a carton of cigarettes, pointed a firearm at the clerk, and made the clerk empty the register.
The suspect described as a white male, 6'-6'5", 180 pounds, wearing a gray hoodie. black hat, and a light colored surgical mask, light blue jeans fled the scene on foot.
