The event was originally scheduled to take place October 3rd, 2020.
"We do not feel that we can plan the event with the current uncertainty surrounding Covid 19 and be certain that volunteers and attendees could safely participate." the organization said in a press release
Two events from the Festival will still be held at the Frackville Free Public Library.
The Art of the Pumpkin is an art contest for teens and adults. Blank wooden pumpkins can be purchased at the library for $5 and artists can create their own unique design in any medium.
My Favorite Pumpkin is a creative pumpkin project for younger children. A foam pumpkin with art materials will be available as a kit for $2.
Proceeds go to the library and prizes will be awarded by a panel of judges.
