Yuengling, Mrs. T's, and Utz Introduce Pennsylvania Love Child

On Thursday, the best and brightest in the pierogy, potato chip and pilsner game introduced their love-child; two new collaborative brews bringing the best flavors in the universe together.

In an announcement from Yuengling, America's Oldest Brewery announced

"Born out of the imperative need to reduce the number of tiring journeys from the couch to the fridge, these new beers quench both thirst and hunger while providing much-needed relief from a harrowing 2020. A marvel in the food and beverage industry sure to stun the masses for centuries to come, these beers have done what no Pennsylvania beers have done before."

Consumers can now combine their drinking and eating needs in one, leaving ample time for more Netflix binging and Tik Tok scrolling – a true innovation. As such, introducing:
  • UTZ Snacks Crunchwave IPA - Dry-hopped with cascade hops, this brew promises to be crisp, zippy and ready to partyyy! The flavor reflects how we feel after being stuck inside for a year.
  • Mrs. T’s Pierogy Pilsner - The perfect smooth brew featuring the melt-in-your-mouth goodness of inimitable Mrs. T’s Pierogies.
“Pierogies, potato chips and pilsners… that’s what Pennsylvania does,” said Sixth Generation Family Member Sheryl Yuengling. “We’re excited for these new beers that pair well with Zoom fatigue and general feelings of boredom. Oh, and by the way… Happy April Fool’s Day.”

All jokes aside, you can’t actually buy these beers and Yuengling made the announcement Thursday morning as an April Fool’s joke. That said, if you do want some Yuengling beer, you can search the “Find Our Beer” link at www.yuengling.com from the comfort of your own couch.

Yuengling's portfolio includes brands like Yuengling® Traditional Lager, Light Lager, Black & Tan, Golden Pilsner, Premium, Light, Dark Brewed Porter, Lord Chesterfield Ale®, FLIGHT by Yuengling, the Next Generation of Light BeerTM and our new Raging Eagle Mango Beer.
